    Yarralin, also known as Walangeri, is an Aboriginal community located 382km South-West of Katherine. It is 16km west of the Victoria River Downs cattle station on the banks of the Wickham River. In close proximity are the Victoria and Humbert rivers, the Gregory National Park and the spectacular Jasper Gorge.

  3. Timber Creek

    Timber Creek was named in 1855 when the explorer Augustus Gregory used timber from the banks of the creek to repair his expedition’s boat. The first inhabitants were the Ngaliwurra and Nungali Aboriginal people, descendants of whom still live in Timber Creek.

    Pine Creek is situated 220km south of Darwin and 90 km north of Katherine at the junction of the Stuart and Kakadu Highways in the Top End of Australia’s Northern Territory.

    Nauiyu is a small community nestled on the banks of the Daly River, considered by many as the best barramundi fishing river in Australia. Nauiyu is 220klm south of Darwin and is accessible by sealed road with new upgrades of the road making Daly River accessible in most weather conditions, although the road to Peppiminarti, Palumpa and Port Keats is unsealed and closed in the wet season.

    Wadeye (also known as Port Keats) is a remote aboriginal community situated 420km South West of Darwin. Wadeye is the 6th populated town in the Northern Territory with the largest Aboriginal community.
